Underground Shopping in Montreal?
We were walking around the rather chilly streets of Montreal are wondered where everyone was. Well, they were beneath our feet, in the huge Underground City! This is a brilliant place to go shopping in the winter, since you can get out of the cold Canadian winter and harsh windy. It's all here, underground, including shops, metro stations and lots of cafes and restaurants.

Amhpibian Buses
This sure was a lot of fun. You drive around some nice sights in Old Montreal first, and then the exciting bit, the 'amphi-bus' goes into the water and suddenly you on a boat, kind of. I'm glad that I brought my camara, because this was something that I really wanted to capture on film. It was a little pricey, but in my opinion, well worth the money.

The Beautiful Notre Dame Church
The Notre Dame Church is one of Montreal's finnest and the very first stone was laid in the 1670s. However, when it was completed in 1683, it was jut so popular that in no time at all it was deemed to have become too small for its purpose. By the turn of the 19th century, some parisheners even had to stand outside to hear the service! In the 1820s, they built the basilica of today and when it was finally complete in 1843, was deemed to be North America's biggest church.
